Testing

FLOODWALLS have been thoroughly tested

It was important to make sure the FLOODWALLS worked.  Finding a property about to flood or damning a river to flood a house was not possible, so we built an inside out house. Instead of stopping water getting in, the house was designed as a tank with the flood doors and air brick covers preventing water getting out.

FLOODWALL'S test house (tank) was then filled with water and a wave machine installed.  This was left for several weeks (longer than most floods), during this time no water was found to escape!  This exceeds the requirements for a British Standard Kitemark® which allows other systems to leak 1 litre per meter per hour.

FLOODWALL didn't leak when tested!

The Old Mill

We have had the Floodwall system installed with a minimum of effort.  Since it was fitted in 2001, we have felt secure in the knowledge that we are fully protected and that our business can go on”.

Pickabook Limited

“Following the summer (2007) floods we decided that it was too much of a risk not to have flood protection for our business.  We contacted Floodwall and they promptly gave us great advice and a free survey. We chose Floodwall because they offered us a complete hassle free solution that was value for money.  We are now safe in the knowledge that when the next flood comes, our business is protected”.
